Dorot
In the summer of 2023, I began volunteering to assist senior citizens in New York City. I lead weekly discussion groups on contemporary issues, and regularly participate in intergenerational arts and crafts and theater. In addition to forming valuable relationships and learning from elders, I also have opportunities to develop organizational skills, solve logistical problems, and participate in workshops, presentations, and team meetings.
Vogue Summer School NYC
I was accepted into the Vogue Summer School Program concentrating in Fashion Business. I explored key topics such as retail and distribution, buying and merchandising, branding, marketing and PR. I worked in the Condé Nast Office, and visited different showrooms for big fashion companies such as Tory Burch, LoveShackFancy, and Kendra Scott.
Camp Hillard
In the summer of 2021, I worked as a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) at a summer camp for children ages 6-10 in New York City. I developed leadership and team building skills through leading games and exercises, helping campers with conflict deescalation, and supporting counselors in creating lesson plans and planning field trips.
